I have a simple question for you.

How will you bring your book/essays/poems, whatever you are working on into the world?

I’m not talking about your productivity or your schedule or the outline you’ve been working on since the the beginning of time.

I’m talking about the qualities of heart and mind you might cultivate.

How might you ask ego to step aside and let something larger rule your writing?

What if you came to page, even to the editing process, and surrendered to the unknown?

What if you stepped aside and let the project surprise you?

And one more question:

Could you love your book into being with kindness to the person who is writing it?

Just a few thoughts for you to mull over.
